Winter Research Fellow – EU Law

Lorenzo is a Winter Research Fellow at the Institute for Law & AI. He obtained a first-class degree at Queen Mary University of London, receiving the Drapers Company Prize and ranking third in his final year. He is also a Queen Mother Scholar from Middle Temple and a recent BCL graduate from the University of Oxford, where he focused on commercial remedies, private international law and regulation of emerging technologies. Prior to joining LawAI, he served as a Research Assistant in Jurisprudence, a Legal Intern at a law firm in London, and a Judge Marshal at the Clerkenwell and Shoreditch County Court. Alongside his core focus in private law, he developed an academic interest in AI Governance and its practical applications in different jurisdictions.
