Moritz von Knebel

Moritz is the Chief of Staff at LawAI, after having joined LawAI as a Research Scholar. Before that, Moritz was a Mercator Fellow for International Affairs and a Research Fellow at the Forethought Foundation, where he investigated the link between emerging technologies and democracy and international governance regimes. He has previously conducted case studies on standard developments in safety-critical industries for Coefficient Giving, scoped out and executed new projects at FAR AI and held appointments and visiting research positions at the Institute for National Defense and Security Research (INDSR) in Taiwan, The Oxford China Policy Lab and Mila. Moritz was a consultant to the OECD and has a Masters degree in Political Science, Philosophy and Education from Philipps-University Marburg.
