| Thomas is a principal administrator at the European Commission and is currently on leave to contribute to LawAI's research on general-purpose AI models under the EU AI Act. Before joining LawAI, Thomas gained fourteen years of professional experience as a lawyer in national and European administrations. This included more than four years as a member of the Legal Service of the European Commission, where he represented the institution in numerous cases before the EU courts. Thomas was educated at Sciences Po Paris, Heidelberg University, Columbia University, Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, and obtained the Certificat d'aptitude à la profession d'avocat (CAPA) from the Paris Bar School. |
