Mateusz Grabarczyk

Mateusz Grabarczyk is a legal researcher and attorney-at-law from Poland, currently working at the Institute of Justice in Warsaw (Section on Judicial Institutions). He holds a PhD in law from Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, where he conducts an NCN-funded research project on judicial accountability. He has been a visiting researcher at the European University Institute, University of Amsterdam, University of Oslo, and University of Bologna. He serves on the CCBE Rule of Law Committee and the Polish Codification Commission’s expert team on the systemic position of judges. His research focuses on AI governance, AI in courts and public institutions, judicial accountability, rule of law, transitional justice and human rights-based approaches to AI.
