Natalia Maj

Natalia is a Summer Research Fellow at LawAI. Her research interests centre on the regulation of frontier AI models, and in particular how to ensure regulatory frameworks work effectively in practice. She is also a visiting policy researcher at the Future of Life Institute, where she focuses on enforcement of the EU AI Act. Natalia is a solicitor qualified in England & Wales. She has extensive experience in competition and regulatory law gained at a global law firm in London, a large telecoms company and a regulatory body, where her work focused in particular on digital and other regulated markets. She obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of Cambridge and completed a Master of Public Administration in Digital Technologies and Policy at UCL.
