Annemieke Brouwer

Annemieke is a Programs Manager at LawAI, focusing on the EU team's research fellowships and programs. Previously, she was a Technology Specialist at the EU AI Office (European Commission), where she worked on frontier AI policy and led engagement with all 27 EU member states on AI safety and security. Before that, Annemieke was a visiting researcher at the Future of Life Institute as part of the Talos fellowship, and she earlier conducted research at the Dutch government and Netherlands Red Cross. She is an Emerging Leaders in Biosecurity (ELBI) fellow at Johns Hopkins University. Annemieke holds a BSc in Applied Mathematics and an MSc in Engineering and Policy Analysis from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, on an ASML technology scholarship.
