Dev Basumallik

Dev is a Research Scholar at LawAI. His research focuses on U.S. law and policy with a particular interest in effective governance, international coordination, and national security. Before joining LawAI, he was a policy advisor at the National Security Commission on Emerging Biotechnology where he focused on emerging technology supply chains, manufacturing, regulation, and national security. Dev graduated cum laude from Fordham Law School and served as a legal intern at the Federal Trade Commission and the Administrative Conference of the United States. Prior to his legal career, he worked as a CPA at Open Philanthropy Project and Deloitte. He holds a B.S. and M.S. from Penn State.
