Sarah Bernardo

Sarah is a Research Scholar at LawAI. Prior to joining LawAI, Sarah was a research scholar for the Technology & Democracy team at the NYU Stern Center for Business and Human Rights. She also worked as a corporate attorney, mainly on private equity mergers and acquisitions, at the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis in New York. Her work on immigration and nonprofit corporate governance matters earned her a Pro Bono Achiever award at the firm. Sarah received her J.D. from Yale Law School where she focused on corporate law and international human rights law. She also holds a B.A. in English and Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley with High Distinction in General Scholarship and Highest Honors in Legal Studies.
