Jonas Freund

Dr Jonas Freund is a Senior Research Fellow at GovAI, where he leads the Risk Management Team. He also serves on the OECD Expert Group on AI Risk & Accountability and is a board member at the Institute for Law & AI (LawAI). He regularly advises frontier AI companies and governments, and runs the AI Risk Management Newsletter. He holds a PhD in law from Goethe University Frankfurt and a law degree from Heidelberg University.
